  • Linda J. Macdonald 5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent coffee substitute Reviewed in the United States on April 27, 2020 Verified Purchase I love coffee, but it doesn't love me. I must say when I ordered this product, I thought it would be an "instant" powder I could add to hot water. As it turns it, it has the consistency of large ground coffee beans. At first I was disappointed. But then I tried pouring hot water over a table spoonful in a fine filter or a french press. WOW! It didn't take long to "brew" and be ready for consumption. I add Silk Almond Vanilla Creamer and Voila! Perfect hot drink that I look forward to every single morning. Highly recommend. Better tasting than most chicory blends. 144 people found this helpful
  • janak23in 5.0 out of 5 stars Wonderful! Can’t tell it’s not coffee! Reviewed in the United States on September 8, 2020 Verified Purchase Amazing! I’d never guess it’s caffiene-free. It has a caramelly, nutty taste my husband & I loved. I used a Vietnamese coffee filter/method, but no condensed milk just boiled water, pour-over Vietnamese brew, added hot milk and Splenda. Soooo good, and I’m a hard-core coffee snob😊 ** For Keto: It’s also fantastic with coffee (I use Peet’s, “Major Dickason’s Blend”) and heavy cream, and coconut milk. Boil (rolling)for a minute, strain through Vietnamese coffee strainer ($12 on Amazon). Then add cream/coconut milk. Some bad reviews here but my experience was awesome. I like strong coffee flavor with cream/milk though.
  • Rumbatech 5.0 out of 5 stars Worth it! Reviewed in the United States on March 5, 2020 Verified Purchase After reading some of the reviews, I had my doubts, but as someone who is used to black Cuban coffee, I decided to try it. One teaspoon should be enough with a cup of water, make sure you strain it though so that the granules don't get into your mouth. Yes it does have a bitter taste, that's why God invented honey. Mix it with milk and some brown sugar and it's even nicer. 42 people found this helpful
