  • Sean P - A GAMING AND DESIGN BEAST. I use my system primarily for Graphic Design and Gaming. After 6 years I figured it was time to upgrade since I was starting to play games that I had to drop down to "High" or "Medium" graphics quality. I was honestly surprised at what a big difference the Mantis made in not only games but video editing and graphic design programs in general. The 32GB of ram, SSD and 2080 combine to make a flawless experience so far. I am currently playing Red Dead Redemption 2 and there is a stark difference in both quality and FPS compared to my older system (I7, 16gb ram, 4GB Geforce). I did a fair amount to research and ended up comparing the custom home build versus this Mantis. I came up with the Mantis costing $150 more. My time and aggravation is worth more than $150 so I pulled the trigger. I am glad I did. The components are top notch, the power supply is overkill and the thing looks cool as hell. There are other choices out there and some by the same company but nothing that I could find was the perfect storm of power + price that this system embodies.
  • Mysterious Gamer - RUNS SMOOTH. Review is for the one that has Nvidia 3080 GPU installed in it. The computer runs very smooth and can play games at 4k on ultra/max settings at 60 fps with an occasional dip to around 45-50 fps on high dense explosions or if viewing from a very far angle. Example being if you're a battle royale fan, Warzone from Call of Duty, the initial plane cutscene on match start will drop your fps to around 45-50. Other than that, if you're wanting to optimize for higher refresh rate monitors, you would need to keep resolutions down to either 1080p or 1440p resolutions and drop graphic settings until you hit the target frame rates. Pros - Green LED fans look good in the case. - Case has plenty of airflow so it isn't stuffy in the case. - Cable management is well done and interior is clean of messy cables. - Computer is fairly light for a desktop mid-tower case. Cons - Price is ouch for 3080/3090 version - Not enough USB ports on the back. Only 4 USB ports (I use at least 7 USB ports, not including ones I use up front) - Fans are a bit loud when under intense loads. Other Notes - Not really a con, but I had to go through device management and get the physical 2 TB HDD to be assigned a drive label, ie DZ letter.
  • Gary - BEST COMPUTER I EVER BOUGHT!!. Actually, this is the FIRST desktop computer I have ever purchased. I have always built my own systems, but now at 81 years old, decided to just find something that will last into the future. Boy am I impressed with this!! I can't seem to find anything bad to say about it. It is fast, quiet, good-looking (just like my ex-wife) and I am so looking forward to the new Microsoft Flight Simulator coming later this year to see how well it performs. I only have good things to say about this computer and CUK!!!
