ReverendOlaf - AWESOME POWER IN A COMPACT PACKAGE, BUT NOT WITHOUT FAULTS. This slim and dense laptop packs a six core CPU that can turbo up to 5ghz, a 2070 super, and all the LEDs to light up a carnival into a laptop with a great screen. The heft and performance mean business, though the loud startup sound and fireworks display on the keyboard betrays a bit more whimsy. It can fill both niches nicely, as can it be a portable desktop replacement. I say portable, but at a very dense 5lbs (feels much heavier) and with a 4 hour battery life, it's not a typical laptop. Between the low base CPU speed and the various max Q tricks used by the GPU, it can and does make sacrifices to allow for this portability. Most evident is the 230watt power pack, which is ridiculous for a laptop, but the GPU alone could draw more on the desktop, but upgradability is another issue.

EaglesWings - DREAM MACHINE. I just got my Triton 500 yesterday (with the 2070 Super, couldn't afford to go higher). I have to say this thing is incredible! I've been searching for a gaming laptop for awhile, and tried just about every one. This gaming PC has won the competition! It games like a dream. I can't believe it's a laptop! It games the same as my desktop PC, if not better.

JWSmythe - LOTS OF DETAILS. I'm going to try to convey as many details as possible, as quickly as possible, in this review. The brief summary is, this is a good, fast gaming computer. It comes close to being as fast as my Asus RoG Strix GL10DH desktop. It will do everything you need, very quickly, in a portable form factor. Don't take my word for it, I brought receipts. First off, watch the attached video. It's only 36 seconds. It is the default bootup sequence, followed by gameplay in Elite Dangerous, Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020), and Elder Scrolls Online. For each, the graphics are turned up to Ultra, or I set every individual setting to the highest possible. The resolution is 1920x1080. Sorry, I don't have a 4K monitor to test with. I may come back and update this review with one later.
